NAME
       crops - international support for PostScript


SYNOPSIS
       crops-addencoding  --input  <inputfile>.afm --encoding
       <name>


DESCRIPTION
       crops-addencoding registers new encoding available for
       use with crops.



OPTIONS
       --config, -c <file>
	      Load     config	 from	 <file>.    Default    is
	      /etc/crops/crops.conf


       --help, -h
	      Print short usage information


       --input, -i <inputfile>.afm
	      Source .afm file. You should first check out how to
	      create  a  new  afm file by looking at the examples
	      included with the distribution ( encodings/  direc
	      tory).


       --encoding, -e <name>
	      The  name  for  the new encoding. If not specified,
	      defaults to <inputfile>


       --output, -o <file>
	      Output result to	<file>.  It  defaults  to  encod
	      ings/<inputfile>.enc file in crops distribution
	      and you must not change it if you want crops to
	      know about it


EXAMPLES
       crops-addencoding --input /tmp/myencoding.afm --encod
       ing my

       Copies /tmp/myencoding.afm to encodings/my.afm, then  uses
       the composeglyphs utility to create the .enc file and puts
       it to encodings/my.enc.
